An international internship can change the direction & course of your life.
In the case of Christina, she actually moved back to Colombia after completing an internship with us in Bogotá & spent two years living in Medellín. Here is what she had to say to us:
I am currently in the U.S. after spending two years in Medellín, Colombia. I did my internship with Intern Colombia in 2020 and later came back to live in Medellín. After my internship, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Public Administration at a German university, which I will be finishing in January! While living abroad in Colombia, I became completely fluent in Spanish and am now pursuing a career in migrant aid. I also was able to pursue my dream of modeling in Medellín, an opportunity I never would have gotten in the U.S. Living in Colombia has made me more understanding of other cultures, exposed me to different food and customs, and given me a confidence I never would have had before embarking on this journey!
I would absolutely say my time in Colombia was life-changing.
